Production and technologies

We have 8 production lines where our napkins and runners are made, and one Multiline dedicated to the production of disposable cups, plates and wrapping papers.

Our napkins are made of tissue paper (100% cellulose) which is bleached without the use of chlorine, We Care tissue paper made from renewable materials and Airlaid, a high-strength material with a textile-like feel. Airlaid is also used to make runners, which are ideal for the hospitality sector due to their properties.

The plates are covered with varnish, what creates a durable coating and barrier against soaking. They do not contain plastic and synthetic material coatings. The coat on our paper plates is made only of natural materials. Directive 2019/904 on the reduction of the environmental impact of certain plastic products does not apply to the above product, due to the lack of plastic content.

The cups are subject to directive 2019/904 on the reduction of the environmental impact of certain plastic products. They are appropriately labelled with information on plastic content in accordance with the applicable standards. They have a barrier that protects paper from soaking.

In printing, we use two technologies – flexographic and digital:

The flexographic technology is used with napkins made from white tissue, We Care and Airlaid paper, as well as runners, wrapping paper and disposable cups and plates. Each flexographic printing line can print designs in up to 6 colours. In the digital technology, on the other hand, we can print on tissue and Airlaid napkins in up to 5 colours: CMYK + 1 Pantone (gold or silver).

We print with ecological, water-based inks with high resistance to abrasion, which is confirmed by certificates.
